Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and Aloft when you use our app and this website. Plain language first, legal second.

Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Aloft. An account is optional; if you create one, you're responsible for keeping your login safe. Please don't share your account with anyone.

What Aloft is, and isn't

Aloft is a tracking tool for routines you and your clinician have decided on. It is not a medical device, a diagnostic tool, and not a source of medical advice. It never prescribes, doses, or recommends compounds. Reminders, estimates, and charts are informational aids and can be wrong, delayed, or missed. Every decision about your treatment, including what to take, how much, and when, belongs with you and your healthcare provider.

Your responsibilities

  • Verify every dose against your prescription or your clinician's instructions. Never rely on Aloft alone.
  • Enter your data accurately. The app can only reflect what you put in.
  • Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the service.
  • Treat our support team the way you'd like to be treated.

Subscriptions and payment

Some features require a subscription. Subscriptions auto-renew at the price shown at purchase, billed through Apple or Google. You can cancel anytime through your device's subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple and Google according to their respective store policies. For unusual circumstances, contact us at hello@tryaloft.com and we'll help where we can.

Your data

Your health entries stay on your device and belong to you; see our privacy policy for the details. You're responsible for keeping your device backed up. If you delete the app without exporting or backing up, your local data goes with it.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, and the content we wrote are ours. Your data is yours. You're not permitted to copy, redistribute, or use our work commercially without written permission.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties and disclaim liability for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we'll notify you in-app. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
